The Bogus Basin Ski Club (BBSC) is excited to present this year’s Warren Miller film, “TIMELESS”. The film festival is an annual event with proceeds to benefit five local non-profit organizations: BBSC, the Bogus Basin Ski Education Foundation, Bogus Basin Ski Patrol, the College of Idaho ski and snowboard team, and Boise Adaptive Snowsport Education (BASE) — an adaptive ski program at Bogus Basin for children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities. In addition to the movie, you will be able to visit with area ski and board shops, including Idaho mountain resort representatives. Partake in raffle drawings for prizes, get a one year free SKI magazine subscription, and purchase adult beverages with ID.
Highlights include a special introduction from Brad Wilson, General Manager of Bogus Basin mountain. A special ‘Saturday Matinee’ 4:30pm gathering will be held for the Bogus Basin School Race Program (BBSRP) students and advisers, with an introduction by coordinator John Foley.
Friends and families can join the Premiere Party before the movie starts! Meet the nationally acclaimed College of Idaho ski team, along with national collegiate “Coach of the Year”, Ron Bonneau; the Bogus Basin Ski Club and the Bogus Basin Recreational Association. Premiere Party at 5pm, Thursday, November 21nd and Movie at 7pm. Reservations required.
This year, “Timeless,” the 70th installment from Warren Miller Entertainment is presented by Volkswagen and Bogus Basin Ski Club. Much of the world has changed since Warren Miller started making ski films in 1949, but the passion of snowriders across the globe has stayed the same. Timeless emulates the enduring spirit of winter and gives a deserving nod to the past seven decades of ski cinematography, while looking toward on the future. Get ready to kick off your winter with a cast of fresh faces, inspirational locales, plenty of laughs and camaraderie, and a classic blend of the new and old.
