Tiny components don’t minimize the durability of Retrospec’s balance bike. The Cub’s easy-to-climb frame is constructed from lightweight high-tensile steel and features a miniature city comfort saddle for easy riding (and balancing!). Airless, durable tires make for a safer, no-pop ride and reliable grip on the sidewalk.
A balance bike is better than training wheels. Riding along with no pedals means kids balance on their feet, which means their feet are almost always touching the ground. Mini-bicyclists can zoom around without the risk of going too quickly or falling down, seriously reducing the risk of getting hurt.
Cub balance bike also requires virtually no assembly or maintenance. It doesn’t have pedals or a chain. The tires are air-free, which means they can’t pop and won’t deflate. The step-thru frame is lightweight and extremely durable.
Meets or exceeds all standards of safety for CPSC/CPSIA CFR 16:1512.
Careful and constant adult supervision is required when riding this bike. Always wear a helmet. Not suitable for children under 20 months.
